Celtic Wheel of the Year altarcloth
The Wheel of the year is a pagan calendar which tracks the eight celtic neo-pagan festivals of Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lughnasadh, Mabon, Samhuinn and Yule. My design includes many little details about the kinds of plants that grow at each time of the year, as hints for how to decorate your altar, and symbolism representing different traditions of each festival. It shows the dates, seasons and even the stages of the triple goddess, in its design. It is the perfect altarcloth for anyone celebrating the festivals on Celtic wheel of the year! It would also make an excellent wall-hanging! They are beautifully printed onto a cotton-linen blend in the UK, using eco-friendly water-based pigment inks. The fabric weight is 228gsm. They are slightly larger than A2, 45cmx45cm. They have been machine-hemmed personally by myself, with my vintage singer sewing machine.
